In April 2012 Outlook India named the site’s twitter account as one of the four must follow twitter accounts of the country under music category.

Vipin Nair – Co-Founder of Music Aloud, reviews IndiEarth artists. Here are his picks:

Taan – Bhairavi Grooves
Imaginative incorporation of western sounds into what starts off a traditional Bhairavi-based rendition.

Mandolin Prakash – Funkernatic
Full display of Prakash’s mandolin-playing skills as he explores kharaharapriya raga’s nuances in this piece. Neat arrangement as well.

Sanjay C – Ganapati Vandana (Tri Mantra)Interesting new age devotional track that sees chants and rap come together in a lounge-ish setting.

Nipun Nair – Kalyani Funk
Nice fusion based on kalyani raga, Nipun is good with the guitar particularly in the funk sections. The konnakol by Kabilan is incorporated well into the song.

Rajalakshmee S – Hare Krishna
Prem Joshua-esque setting of dwijawanti-based chants in a lounge format, the song has a very soothing effect on you.
