Showcase Call – Blue Lotus Festival, Pushkar, India

IndiEarth collaborates with De Kulture to offer India’s folk artists the stage at Blue Lotus Festival being held at Pushkar, Rajasthan from 13th to 18th February 2013.

Blue Lotus Festival is an unprecedented event focused on the richness of genres and styles of best of Indian Sufi, Folk, Traditional, Gypsy, Tribal, Devotional, Spiritual and Indigenous music from across India.

The selected artists will be provided with a performance fee, AC train fare, accommodation, local transfers, food and beverage.

To perform at the exclusive IndiEarth programme slot at the Blue Lotus Festival:

– Selection will be by a Jury

Deadline for applications is 16th January 2013.

Beyond the 40 music groups representing the diverse folk genres of India, the festival programme includes musical workshops, film screenings, conferences, a discovery journey of Indian food, Art & Living classes, yoga sessions and camel safaris, in the ancient historical and cultural town of  Pushkar.
