A Musical March: IndiEarth At The Park

More mellifluous music for the month of March – our mission continues.

The third edition of IndiEarth At The Park happening on March 8th, 2014 at The Park Chennai promises to add another bright splash of colour to Chennai’s musical canvas. This time, we have two more unique and wildly talented musicians lined up – Siddharth Basrur – lead singer of Goddess Gagged – and Your Chin – the solo project of Sky Rabbit’s lead vocalist Raxit Tewari.

Siddharth has been active in India’s indie music scene for over twelve years now, and most recently was nominated for the MTV VMAI‘s under the ‘Best Indie Male Artist’ category and also won an award for Best Roots Song. His latest endeavour – the Siddharth Basrur Band, which he will showcase at IndiEarth At The Park – features Siddharth on vocals, Anurag Shanker on Guitar and Backing Vocals, Adil Kurwa on Bass, and Vaibhav Wavikar on Drums.

Your Chin delves into the deep end of indie electronica, with Raxit using guitars and soft synths layered with his trademark vocals to produce new sounds, and his interpretation of indie pop. His self-titled EP was released in June 2012, and was written, produced and recorded by Your Chin for your ears.

A refreshingly out of the box musical experience that promises something different for Chennai – more details for the event are also available on the Facebook event page.
