Tiny Fingers Tour India

With an explosive cocktail of live electronics, post rock elements, psychedelia, groove and bass that ain’t so tiny – Israeli band Tiny Fingers get set to bring their highly potent sonic elixir to India. Their all-India tour kickstarts on the 9th of January at IIT Saarang, Chennai where they will perform alongside acts like Nucleya, Thermal Projekt and Progressive Brothers, before launching into a series of tour dates that will take them all across the country through Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Ahmedabad, Guwahati and Varanasi. “It’s our first time in India, we’re looking forward to traveling around this great country – we’ve heard amazing things about it,” the band told IndiEarth. “For us, life on the road is what the band is about – meeting new people, connecting and sharing our music. India is a magical place and we are excited to see people’s reaction to our music.”

The band consists of Oren Ben David on guitar, Boaz Bentur on bass, Tal Cohen on drums, and Nimrod Bar [what a name] on keys & synths, and have created a sound that the BBC have called “an explosive mixture”. They’ve been handpicked to open for The Mars Volta, and their futuristic live act is quickly gaining popularity on the festival circuit around Israel and Europe. “Our music is a musical trip,” the band continues. “Very intense and deep – it’s not a regular show but a psychological trip. We build every set according to where we play and how it feels, trying to create a special vibe. It’s going to be one hell of a trip.”
