IndiEarth On Air: Alternative Content On The Airwaves

As part of its mission to unearth the many hidden gems in the country’s independent music, and showcase these artists to more audiences via different forms of media – IndiEarth has tied up with Chennai Live 104.8 FM to broadcast the best of the Indian independent music circuit. The weekly one hour program – aptly titled the Independent Music Hour – is hosted by IndiEarth’s Rohan Sen, and features live studio jam sessions, artist interviews, fresh sounds, and new releases from both established and up and coming independent artists from across the country. The show offers unique and unconventional music content curated by IndiEarth, designed to introduce alternative sounds to the mainstream media.

Every Saturday of the month has something in store for film lovers with the On Screen Film Hour, a one hour show dedicated to independent cinema in all its on screen splendour. The show includes interviews with members of the independent film fraternity, discussions and debates on a wide range of industry specific topics, and offers advice and updates on screening opportunities for Indian independent filmmakers. It also covers various notable works of independent cinema coming out of the country, featuring in depth conversations with the filmmakers.
