Janis Joplin – Blues Conscience

“I’m in love, with Janis Joplin”, croons Anek Ahuja, lead singer of Blues Conscience, in their ode to Janis, entitled “Janis Joplin” – the first single to hit the IndiEarth Out There Series.  The band has dedicated itself itself to all things blues, with Aum Janakiram on lead guitar/vocals, and Neil Smith on percussion.  This video is their stripped down, completely acoustic set up, performed one breezy day on the terrace of Clementine Studios.  Take a listen, and groove to the blues.
