IOMMA Showcase: Indian Bands Announced!
This past February, IOMMA (Indian Ocean Music Market) and longstanding partner EarthSync – through its initiative IndiEarth – put out a call to Indian independent artists to sign up for an exciting opportunity to perform at the fourth edition of IOMMA, taking place in Réunion Island from the 1st – 4th of June, 2015.
IndiEarth is now proud to announce Sky Rabbit, The Ganesh Talkies, Donn Bhat + Passenger Revelator, and Tritha Electric as the official selection of Indian artists to be showcased at IOMMA 2015.
IOMMA was started with the aim of creating regional networks, and connecting artists and professionals from across the Indian Ocean to the world’s music industry. EarthSync has been a close partner with IOMMA through its Indian music, film and media conference IndiEarth XChange – working together to facilitate Indian artists to perform in Reunion Island and for Reunnionais artists to share their music with Indian audiences.
With a focus on the Indian Ocean music markets, the XChange-IOMMA partnership has been nurturing an exchange of music and culture between India and Réunion Island.
